CVE-2021-1419: Cisco Security Advisory: Cisco Access Points SSH Management Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the SSH management feature of multiple Cisco Access Points (APs) platforms could allow a local, authenticated user to modify files on the affected device and possibly gain escalated privileges. The vulnerability is due to improper checking on file operations within the SSH management interface. A network administrator user could exploit this vulnerability by accessing an affected device through SSH management to make a configuration change. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain privileges equivalent to the root user.

CVE-2021-3806: Pardus 21 Linux Distro – Remote Code Execution 0day 2021 CVE-2021-3806 – Pentest Blog

A path traversal vulnerability on Pardus Software Center's "extractArchive" function could allow anyone on the same network to do a man-in-the-middle and write files on the system.

CVE-2021-28561: Adobe Security Bulletin

Acrobat Reader DC versions versions 2021.001.20150 (and earlier), 2020.001.30020 (and earlier) and 2017.011.30194 (and earlier) are affected by a memory corruption vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

CVE-2021-3634: Invalid Bug ID

A flaw has been found in libssh in versions prior to 0.9.6. The SSH protocol keeps track of two shared secrets during the lifetime of the session. One of them is called secret_hash and the other session_id. Initially, both of them are the same, but after key re-exchange, previous session_id is kept and used as an input to new secret_hash. Historically, both of these buffers had shared length variable, which worked as long as these buffers were same. But the key re-exchange operation can also change the key exchange method, which can be based on hash of different size, eventually creating "secret_hash" of different size than the session_id has. This becomes an issue when the session_id memory is zeroed or when it is used again during second key re-exchange.

CVE-2021-34565: VDE-2021-027 | CERT@VDE

In PEPPERL+FUCHS WirelessHART-Gateway 3.0.7 to 3.0.9 the SSH and telnet services are active with hard-coded credentials.

CVE-2021-40330: git_connect_git(): forbid newlines in host and path · git/git@a02ea57

git_connect_git in connect.c in Git before 2.30.1 allows a repository path to contain a newline character, which may result in unexpected cross-protocol requests, as demonstrated by the git://localhost:1234/%0d%0a%0d%0aGET%20/%20HTTP/1.1 substring.

CVE-2021-36278: DSA-2021-142: Dell PowerScale OneFS Security Update for Multiple Vulnerabilities

Dell EMC PowerScale OneFS versions 8.2.x, 9.1.0.x, and 9.1.1.1 contain a sensitive information exposure vulnerability in log files. A local malicious user with ISI_PRIV_LOGIN_SSH, ISI_PRIV_LOGIN_CONSOLE, or ISI_PRIV_SYS_SUPPORT privileges may exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive information. If any third-party consumes those logs, the same sensitive information is available to those systems as well.

CVE-2021-1572: Cisco Security Advisory: ConfD CLI Secure Shell Server Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

A vulnerability in ConfD could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary commands at the level of the account under which ConfD is running, which is commonly root. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must have a valid account on an affected device. The vulnerability exists because the affected software incorrectly runs the SFTP user service at the privilege level of the account that was running when the ConfD built-in Secure Shell (SSH) server for CLI was enabled. If the ConfD built-in SSH server was not enabled, the device is not affected by this vulnerability. An attacker with low-level privileges could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to an affected device and issuing a series of commands at the SFTP interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to elevate privileges to the level of the account under which ConfD is running, which is commonly root. Note: Any user who can authenticate to the built-in SSH server may exploit this vulnerabi...

CVE-2020-19305: MetInfo 7.0.0 Arbitrary File Deletion · Issue #2 · MRdoulestar/CodeAnalyse

An issue in /app/system/column/admin/index.class.php of Metinfo v7.0.0 causes the indeximg parameter to be deleted when the column is deleted, allowing attackers to escalate privileges.

CVE-2021-21565: DSA-2021-097: Dell PowerScale OneFS Security Update for Multiple Proprietary Component Vulnerabilities.

Dell PowerScale OneFS versions 9.1.0.3 and earlier contain a denial of service vulnerability. SmartConnect had an error condition that may be triggered to loop, using CPU and potentially preventing other SmartConnect DNS responses.
